The ukulele is a very nice instrument. Simple to pick up and enough for most enthusiasts. Advanced or professional musicians can also do great things in this instrument. Since I’ve picked up the ukulele, I have made many friends in the UK and beyond its borders. Just by playing together, we have a lot of fun and meet people wherever I go.
I’m running the BAD Ukes jam in Brighton since the end of 2024. I’ve come up with a songbook for the jam. First, as a way of giving the jam its own flavour. Second, to give thanks to all the songbooks I’ve used throughout these years, as well as to their makers.
